Dr. Hamilton Calder has called Northwest Houston home for over 30 years and is proud to be part of Spring’s long-standing tradition of dental comfort and care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and completed his dental education at the University of Texas Dental School in 2002. With a strong commitment to excellence, Dr. Calder continually advances his knowledge and skills—along with those of his team—through ongoing education and training. His goal is to provide every patient with the most modern, gentle and personalized dental care in a clean and welcoming environment. Dr. Dang was born in Vietnam and moved to the United States at the age of five. He grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he completed his entire education—from kindergarten through dental school—always just a short drive from home. After graduating dental school, Dr. Dang made the move to Houston in search of a change of pace and climate. He quickly fell in love with the city, especially its incredible food scene. For someone who’s passionate about food, Houston’s endless culinary options are a dream come true! As a general dentist, Dr. Dang is known for his compassionate approach and commitment to clinical excellence. He continually advances his skills to provide patients with the highest standard of care and has completed extensive training in procedures such as: • Surgical extractions • Bone grafting • Suturing techniques • Molar root canals (endodontics) • Veneers and Crowns Dr. Dang is dedicated to building lasting relationships with his patients and creating a comfortable, personalized dental experience for every visit.
Juan was born in Mexico and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He is a certified dental assistant and studied at the University of Houston before joining our practice in 2010. Juan values the close-knit, supportive environment of the team, which he describes as feeling like family. Passionate about patient care, Juan finds great fulfillment in helping transform smiles and making dental visits a positive experience. He is dedicated to maximizing insurance benefits for patients and continually seeks new ways to make dental care more accessible and affordable. He also works to reduce dental anxiety, striving to make each visit more comfortable and enjoyable. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, dancing and spending time with friends and family.
Alicia holds an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Lone Star College–Kingwood and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from St. Lawrence University. She joined Comfort Dental Excellence in 2014 and has since been a dedicated member of the comprehensive care team. As a dental hygienist, Alicia focuses on the prevention and treatment of oral diseases, taking a personalized approach to patient care. She is committed to building strong relationships with her patients, understanding their individual concerns and providing tailored preventive guidance to support their long-term oral health. Outside of her professional role, Alicia enjoys spending time with her son and caring for her many pets. In her free time, she loves hiking, quilting and watching movies.
Reem graduated from UT as a dental hygienist. She has been part of our team since 2015. She has over 20 years of experience in providing comprehensive dental hygiene care. She is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintained optimal oral health through preventative care and education. Reem enjoys building relationships with her patients and tailoring her approached to meet their individual needs. She is committed to helping patients manage and improve their gum health. She is known for her thorough approach, insuring that each patient feels comfortable and informed. On her free time, she enjoys walking her dog name Shakira, shopping, dancing, eating and trying different cuisines, out door activities and traveling.
Shaun initially planned to pursue a military career and enrolled in the Grizzly Youth Academy program. During his time there, he discovered a passion for dentistry, which inspired him to shift his career path. He went on to earn his dental assisting certification from Concorde Career College. Since joining Comfort Dental Excellence in December 2019, Shaun has become a dedicated and energetic member of the team. He values the supportive, family-like environment and is committed to helping both patients and colleagues grow. Shaun brings enthusiasm to every patient interaction, striving to make each visit a positive and welcoming experience. Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball and working on cars.
Ana received her training at Comfort Dental School, where she had the opportunity to work under the guidance of Dr. Sirby. She began her higher education at Norda Harris College before earning a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a major in Accounting from the Philippines School. Ana joined Comfort Dental Excellence in July 2013 and greatly values the friendly, family-oriented culture of the practice. She is a collaborative team player who approaches her work with an open mind, a willingness to learn and a strong commitment to addressing patients’ needs. A proud mother of four children, Ana enjoys cooking, singing and taking walks in the park during her free time. She is also bilingual in Tagalog.
Ellen is a proud graduate of Boston Technical High School and continued her education at Massasoit Community College. She joined our team in 2020 and has since become a valued member of our office staff, known for her warm personality and dedication to patient care. With a passion for helping others, Ellen takes great pride in assisting patients on their journey toward healthier smiles. She works hard to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels comfortable, heard and truly welcomed. Whether it’s answering questions with a friendly smile or helping in other ways, Ellen is always ready to support your dental experience with compassion and professionalism. Ellen is also bilingual in Cantonese, which allows her to better serve and connect with a broader range of patients in our diverse community. Her ability to communicate clearly and respectfully across language barriers is a true asset to our practice. Outside the office, Ellen enjoys discovering new culinary experiences. She has a deep appreciation for food from all cultures and loves trying out different restaurants and recipes in her free time
Jorge began working with us in January 2024. As an aspiring dentist, he is preparing to pursue formal dental education soon. He values the welcoming and supportive atmosphere of the practice and is committed to learning from the experienced team around him. Jorge is dedicated to expanding his knowledge and skills with the goal of becoming a future leader who will contribute to the growth and success of the practice. Outside of work, he enjoys playing soccer and listening to music.
Triston is a graduate of Klein High School and a former participant in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC). Since joining Comfort Dental Excellence in August 2021, he has embraced opportunities to expand his knowledge of the dental field while gaining valuable hands-on experience. In his role, Triston is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of daily activities by ensuring a clean, sterile environment. Recognized for his attentive listening skills and approachable demeanor, he contributes positively to the overall office environment. Triston’s connection to the practice extends to his family, as his mother serves as an Insurance Coordinator at Comfort Dental Excellence. Outside of work, he enjoys fitness activities, playing guitar and watching movies.
Deanna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Sales from Weber State University and joined Comfort Dental Excellence in August 2020. She values the culture of growth and continuous learning within the practice and is passionate about contributing to its ongoing success. In her role, Deanna is responsible for developing training manuals, creating promotional materials and providing support wherever needed. She is continually seeking ways to enhance internal processes and improve the overall patient experience. Her dedication to both the team and the patients is evident in everything she does. Deanna is proud to share her connection to Comfort Dental Excellence with her three children, who have also worked at the practice—making it a true family endeavor. Lindsay is a graduate of Northbrook High School, Class of 2020, and joined our team in March 2023. She brings a friendly and welcoming presence to the practice and enjoys meeting new people, building strong relationships with both patients and colleagues, and contributing to a positive work environment. In her role, Lindsay ensures that patients are scheduled for future appointments and have a smooth, enjoyable experience during their visit. She is bilingual in Spanish, which allows her to communicate effectively with a broader range of patients and provide more inclusive care. Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her child and two dogs. In her free time, she loves traveling and watching movies with her loved ones.
Cierra was born and raised in Houston, TX, and is a proud mother of a beautiful daughter. She has always had a strong interest in the dental field and joined our office seven months ago. Since then, she has gained valuable hands-on experience that has deepened her understanding of dentistry. Cierra enjoys being part of the team and focuses on scheduling patients for their dental treatments and cleanings at times that are most convenient for them. This role has further fueled her passion for dentistry and strengthened her goal to continue growing in the field. She takes pride in being part of Comfort Dental Excellence, where the supportive and family-oriented environment motivates her every day. Nancy has been working in the dental field as a healthcare professional for years. She finds great fulfillment in her work, appreciating the positive impact and sense of purpose that comes from helping patients achieve and maintain good oral health. Having once been in the position of not fully understanding the importance of oral care, Nancy brings empathy and a personal connection to her role. In her role, she is responsible for verifying patients’ dental insurance and obtaining a detailed breakdown of their benefits prior to their visit, helping to ensure a smooth check-in process and minimize wait times. In her free time, Nancy enjoys dancing—particularly popping and locking—and relaxing by watching her favorite TV series.
Yvette is originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico, and is a graduate of Carlsbad High School. She has been a valued member of our team since May 2017. Yvette deeply appreciates the supportive work environment and the care Dr. Calder has shown to both her and her family over the years. With a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous learning, Yvette takes pride in performing her role with excellence. She especially enjoys the challenge of navigating insurance processes—advocating on behalf of our patients to ensure they receive the full benefits they're entitled to. Outside of work, Yvette is devoted to her family. She has been married for 25 years and is the proud mother of three adult children and grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, spending time with loved ones and relaxing at home with a glass of wine.
Adrian is a detail-oriented dental chart auditor with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and documentation integrity. He is responsible for reviewing patient records, including x-rays, treatment planning and progress notes, to ensure they meet clinical and regulatory standards. Adrian also identifies documentation deficiencies and inconsistencies, helping practices maintain accurate records and adhere to industry guidelines. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ethical auditing practices, Adrian supports dental offices in improving billing accuracy and delivering high-quality patient care. Outside of work, Adrian enjoys dancing, exploring new recipes in the kitchen and spending quality time with friends and family.
